Introduction
Invisible Children is an organization that uses a wide variety of media sources in order to spread awareness about the war and child abductions occurring in Central Africa. They use their website, Facebook, films, film screenings, and rallies to bring youth together to take a stand against the cause. All of Invisible Children's work demonstrates the impact social media can have on activism, but their KONY 2012 viral video exemplifies this idea the most. In addition to demonstrating the greatness that media can help us achieve, Invisible Children also shows the problems that it can cause. Due to this, Invisible Children is an organization that is worth looking at, in both it's glory days and it's weakest moments.
